Alec Baldwin 'fine' after being rushed to hospital after daughter called 911
The "30 Rock" star's spokesman is calling an early morning trip to the hospital a simple "misunderstanding."
WNBC News reported that Alec Baldwin was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital early Thursday after his daughter, Ireland, called 911.
She described him as unresponsive, and when medics arrived, he agreed to be taken to the hospital.
He was examined and released an hour later.
"This was a misunderstanding on one person's part," Baldwin's spokesman told WNBC. "Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine."
Baldwin's relationship with his daughter, Ireland, was tabloid fodder in 2007 when a voice mail was leaked of him calling her a "thoughtless little pig."
He is expected to host he upcoming Academy Awards show on March 7 with funnyman Steve Martin.
