George McLaughlin was found with stab wounds A teenager has been charged in connection with the murder of a 45-year-old man in East Renfrewshire.George McLaughlin was found with stab wounds in a common close in Gertrude Place, Barrhead, in the early hours of Sunday 3 April.
Strathclyde Police said he had been involved in a row earlier in the evening.
The force said an 18-year-old had been arrested. He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
