Snakes stolen in Belfast burglary

The snakes were taken during a burglary at the city's Smithfield Market in the early hours of Friday.

Two shops in the market had their doors damaged and a sum of money was taken from one of the units at about 0030 BST.

The two snakes were taken from another shop. Police recovered the reptiles nearby and returned them to the shop.

Police have asked for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
